Student Success Statement
"It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and (to make) unpopular that which is unsound (and not good)."
Joseph Smith
This statement means that to make that sound better and to make a better life of you self to go out there and do what you want to go don'always let other people bully you and not to do you what you want to do let the police people do there job to make this place better and they are our heroes to protect this nice country and let do what they want because they could make this place better so people can go outside at night to do whatever they want so they can be free to do what they want like go shopping go to the movies and that's end of my story.

9.  . . .don’t crane for exams. Successful students know divided periods of study are more effective cram sessions, and they practice it.
If there is one thing skills specialist agree, last ditch efforts know as cramming. You’ll learn more, remember more, and earn a higher grade by studying in four, one hour a night sessions for Friday’s exam than studying in four hours a night sessions for Friday’s exam than studying for four hours straight on. Thursday night. Short, concentrated preparatory efforts are more efficient and rewarding than wasteful inattentive, last moment marathons. Yet, so many students fail to learn this lesson and end up repeating it over and over again until it become a wasteful habit. Not too clever, huh?
When you cram, you are taking the shortcut, you feel rather rotten knowing that you could have done better but didn't  shortcuts cut you short. You can’t plant watermelon seeds and harvest fresh watermelons the next day. Plus cramming for a test or project doesn’t help you academically, so why even do it. Plan ahead, prepare ahead. Give yourself plenty of days and weeks to prepare for upcoming accountability opportunities.

"What's right isn't always popular, Whats's popular isn't always right."
Howard casell
Well this statement is talking about how this kid did is not really right to say to your mom or your dad and whats right to be popular is not to just to be how is famous is to be yourself and that how people will like you how you are just choose the right and be how ever you want to be.

7.   . . Successful students know their personal behavior affect their feelings and emotions which in turn can affect learning.
If you act in a certain way that normally produces particular feelings, you will began to experience those feelings. Act like you’re bored, and you’ll become bored. Act like you’re disinterested, and you’ll become disinterested. So the next time you have trouble concentrating in the classroom, “act” like an interested person: lean forward, place your feet flat on the floor, maintain eye contact with the professor, nod occasionally, take notes and ask questions. Not only will you benefit directly from your actions, your classmates and professor may get and enthusiastic.
8.  . . .talk about what they’re learning. Successful students get to know things well enough that they can put it into words. Talking about something with friends or classmates is good not only for checking whether of not you know something, it’s a proven learning tool. Transferring ideas into words provides the most direct path from moving knowledge from short-term to long-term memory. You really don’t “know” material until you can put it into words. So next time you study, don’t do it silently. Talk about notes, problems, reading, etc. with friends, recite to a chair, organized an oral study group, pretend your teaching your peers. “Talk-learning” produces a whole host of memory traces that result in more learning.

5.   Don’t sit in the back of the room. Successful students minimize classroom distractions that interfere with learning.
Students want the best seat available for their entertainment dollars, but willingly seek the worst seat cannot possibly be their professor’s teammate (see no. 4). Why do they expose themselves to the temptations of inactive classroom experiences and distraction of all people between them and their instructor? Of course, we know they chose the back of the classroom because they seek invisibility or anonymity, both of which are antithetical to efficient and effective learning. If you are trying to not be part of the class, why, then, are you wasting your time? Push your hot buttons, is there something else yo should be doing with your time?
6.  . . .take good notes. Successful students take notes that are understandable and organized, and review them often.
Why put something in your notes you don’t understand? Ask the questions now that are necessary to make your notes meaningful at some later time. A short review of your notes while the material is still fresh on your mind helps you to learn more. The more you learn then, the less time it will take because you won’t have to include some deciphering time, also. The whole purpose of taking notes is to use them, and use them often. The more you use them, the more they improve.

Study For Multiply Exams
Part 2
M
y strategies for written assignments: Everyone has their own writing styles. I generally come up with an idea do massive amounts of research before I ever think about writing. I then organized my research then sometimes prepare an outline before actually writing. I always print out the paper and come back to it the next day and reread it. That is the easiest way for me to catch my own mistakes. I have to give my eyes a break from it, and if I just wrote it I think it looks perfect. But if I look at it a day later I almost always find grammatical errors phrases and sentences I just want to reward.
How I succeed in team projects: Never assume someone is doing what they are supposed to be doing. Have regular meetings and have each member show their work, not just give you or the group their word for it.

 Sarah’s Academic Success Story
Part 2
My test study method: I have different strategies for different types of test or subjects. For me, my tape of math is exceptionally difficult so I had to spread extra time on that. I would go back through the homework problems focusing on the problem focusing on the problems that I had extra difficulty on. Many times I would ask the teacher for my additional study materials they could provide. If it was a class that required memorization or applying concepts I would create a sort of study guide for myself many times focusing on what were key focal points in the class. if I know there was going to the essays I would try to take the terms and apply them to an example or create different questions on the concepts focused on the throughout the semester.
My time management secret: I always always always carry a planner with me. I even use different color highlights to show what each event me calendar is for. For example, pink is personal, yellow is school, orange is work, blue is for appointments, and green is for my sorority. Although I use white-out frequency. I can just get to start working on it on [the previous] Wednesday so I can just get it done. My friends have always been amazed at how early I get my things accomplished but is really all I do.

You can Succeed Everyday
Part 2
My strategies for written assignments: I try to outline before I write because otherwise I forget what I am supposed to be talking about. I try not to leave them until the last minute because then I will just goof up the work. A lot of times I just write what I feel. Teachers like your options and if you can find something from the reading or researches that relates specifically to your life, they like if even more because it allows you to take ownership of your work. I write things that I went others to read: not things that I have to write because the teachers said so.
How I succeed to team projects: Personally: I do not like working on group projects, esp
especially ones that I worked on in high school. However, when it is required to work it in a group, usually I try to lead. I like taking the lead because then I know that my grade will be good one. I do well in school. I always have and I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon, so when I need to work with people who maybe don’t care so much I do, or they have more time to waste on things other than the project, I try to be in charge. That way I know that things are going to get done on time and that I am going to get a good grade. If I am working in a group of people who all want to work, then it is a different story.
